Diktio Perrevia (Perrevia Network)

PERREVIA NETWORK – Looking into the Future Perrevia Network operates independently as an autonomous non-governmental organization and it has been certified for implementing national and european projects. It organises major actions with key partners (the State, universities, local government, civil society-NGOs) and plays an advisory, supportive and coordinating role to its members. It is managed by a Board of 9 Members, all graduates of Greek and foreign universities, and in most projects it is supported by external scientific partners, research centers, development agencies, consulting firms and Organizations of Civil Society. It is recognized as an innovative pioneer network in the field of NGOs and it is often invited to support others in networking and cooperation between non-governmental actors, as it has already contributed decisively in the foundation of other Networks in Greece. The Scope of the Network The main scope of the Network is to contribute greatly to social progress, sustainable development and the promotion of the natural, historical and cultural heritage of Thessaly, Greece and the EU. That is why most of its actions are recognised nation-wide and above. As a volunteer organization it always looks into the future. It is mainly characterised by extroversion and innovation. It perfectly cooperates with European Institutions, the Greek State (ministries, regions, municipalities), educational institutions (universities, colleges, institutes, research centers), professional bodies (Chambers, Associations), volunteer networks in Greece and abroad, scientists, people of art and culture and businesses with social responsibility.
