Cooperativa sociale Gente di Mare

- From the Statute: «the aim of the Cooperative is to welcome and support seafarers, fishermen, people of the sea and their relatives, as stated in the International conventions on maritime welfare». We provide several services to the Stella Maris Centers (non-profit Catholic organizations, located in many Italian ports, that seek to provide an environment for meeting the physical, social, and spiritual needs of seafarers). - From 2011 we have been part of the Social Consortium agOrà (Genoa), which belongs, in turn, to the National Consortium Idee in rete and to EticLab. From 2013 we have joined Federsolidarietà – Confcooperative. We have gradually diversified our services, working on other fields of social inclusion.
