Ciclabili Siciliane

Ciclabili Siciliane is a non-profit organisation founded in January 2017 in Palermo, Sicily, that aims at promoting bicycle tourism as an opportunity for social, cultural and economic growth and at disseminating the positive values linked to cycling as sport for all, the exploration of the territory and the encounter and cultural exchange with its people. We address common community issues such as depopulation, destruction of the countryside and isolation of inland communities. Our grassroot initiative, a public-private partnership called the Sicily Cycling Network includes around 50 municipalities, several associations and dozens of small businesses across the island.
