Informal Social Group

“Informal Social Group” was born in March 2018 in a small inland town, near the Plain of Rosarno, with a high proportion of foreign population. Group members are youngsters and older people, from different cultural heritage, mostly between 18 and 30 years old, equally with different backgrounds concerning studies and personal formation. The Group's Mission is to enhance diversity, both in cultural and formation heritage, as a tool of shared and personal improvement, through the promotion of cultural initiatives, mainly in these peripheral territories Most group members have already had volunteer experiences, within some Catholic , organizations, in order to assist groups of young migrants in the Plain of Rosarno and the area of Vibo Valentia. The group is in touch with a school in the same Plain of Rosarno and some other schools in the province of Vibo Valentia, to carry out intercultural operations such as: 1. Develop a common-shared sense of pro-diversity attitude 2. Examine and rethink the main functions of the city "through the lens of the intercultural approach" a) educational activities b) businesses and economy c) sport and art
