ELVANLI MIDDLE SCHOOL

Our school was opened as a 5th grade primary school in 1924, 1 year after the publication of our Republic. Our school, which serves environmental villagers İlemin, Sıraç, Karayakup and Karahıdırlı students, served as an elementary primary school in 1934 when the local village students were in Erzincan earthquake in 1939. The bunk beds and love boilers in our school were sent to the disaster area and the boarding was abolished. In 1969, a modern five-class building was built in cooperation with the state nation. In 1986, a secondary school building was constructed with the collaboration of the state in cooperation with the school garden. In 1990 - 1991 academic year, primary and secondary schools were merged to continue to provide education to our students who graduated from primary schools of Sıraç, Çiftepınar, Pınarbaşı, Hacıhalilarpaç from our environmental villages as one of the first primary schools in Erdemli. In the school year, the second floor of our second building was added to the education-training program by adding 6 classrooms in cooperation with the state. With the transition to the 4 +4 +4 education system in 2013, our school has been separated into primary and secondary schools and now continues to provide education services as two separate educational institutions, namely primary and secondary schools. Our school has a science lab, a knowledge technology lab, a business education class, a special education class, and 9 classrooms. Our school does not need a teacher.
