Leap Ventures - Associação de Empreendedorismo

LeapVentures is a non-profit organization aimed at creating the next generation of young entrepreneurs. LeapVentures was founded in 2015 in Lisbon by a group of university students from the Lisbon School of Economics & Management and Instituto Superior Técnico. At the time LEAP - Lisbon Entrepreneurship Activities & Projects, it was created to meet the need for a better understanding of entrepreneurship among university students, and to facilitate the process of creating and developing ideas within this tight community. Since 2015, we grew from a small informal group of students to a nonprofit association operating in 2 universities and 8 more nationwide in 2020. We like to think we have made a difference, we have organised over 50 talks and workshops, successfully allocated interns in over 50 summer internships in startups, and helped several students develop their ideias. Now we are ready for the next step, we have a very aggressive expansion strategy, we want to further help young people develop ideas and promote entrepreneurship as a potential career choice.
