HeurekaNet is a state-approved provider of youth service, creating and implementing educational model projects that promote the development and participation of children and youth. But the scope of the HeurekaNet is wider. Since its foundation in 2000, HeurekaNet has been committed to the innovation of organisations and SMEs in various fields ranging from mechanical and plant engineering to care services. Research & Develeopment, vocational education and training and intermediary action are "one the menu". Our topics are competence development of adults, youth culture and youth social work, gender mainstreaming with a strong focus on reconciliation of family and work, diversity, health and care as well as citizen engagement. An increasingly important field of work is the challenge of digitalisation of the world of life and work, as depicted under various labels such as Industry 4.0. It is increasingly in the focus of our projects and is developing more and more into a cross-sectional topic. The guiding principles of our work are the sustainable development and use of resources, social, economic and political participation, diversity and equality, integration and inclusion. Together with institutional and private supporters, clients and partners, HeurekaNet searches for alternatives to traditional approaches and thus ambitiously develops new solutions that allow individuals and the systems surrounding them to develop and use their potential in a sustainable way. HeurekaNet is based in Muenster and has offices in Muenster (North Rhine-Westphalia) and Hamburg. As the name of the association suggests, the institute develops and unfolds its ideas and projects in a networked manner. The inner circle of this multidisciplinary network currently includes twelve members representing a broad spectrum of disciplines ranging from educational science, psychology, social work, journalism, etc. to law. They are linked to a broad field of lifelong learning, extracurricular youth education, vocational training, adult education, in-company continuing education and higher education through their activities within and outside our institute. The institute has strong project management skills and has implemented projects of any size and complexity up to a project cost volume of about 1 million Euros.
