Konya Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (KONESOB); It is a professional organization that was established on 21 July 1966 in accordance with the principles set forth in Article 135 of the Turkish Constitution and the Law on Tradesmen and Craftsmen Professional Organizations No. 5362, with a legal personality as a public institution, whose directors come to work through independent elections under the supervision of the judiciary. As of 2018, 84 chambers of tradesmen and craftsmen are registered with KONESOB. KONESOB; It is the professional organization that represents small-scale enterprises in Konya and has the highest number of members throughout the province. It is also a non-governmental organization since its managers are elected and independent in its internal management. It represents the small-scale businesses that are members of KONESOB at national and international level, takes the necessary initiatives for the development of its members, and works as a lobbying organization to protect the interests of its members. KONESOB has 12 full-time personnel working in these directorates, including the service building, which is owned by itself and has offices equipped with the necessary equipment, the general secretary, the training manager, the public relations manager, the legal counsel, and the registry manager. Staff are employed on a part-time basis when needed.
