M-LAB ASSOCIATION

The aim of the association is to activate the creative attitude and creativity of young people, build a sense of their driving force and shape social, civic and democratic attitudes, counteract exclusion, loneliness and mental problems of young people, protect the rights of children and youth. We have experience in involving young people in participatory projects, where young people, in cooperation with adults, make self-diagnoses, create solutions for themselves, discuss and develop directions of change, e.g. in education, or directions of activities for youth in the city and present them to the authorities (https://tiny. pl/9nm28). We have great s with all educational institutions in the city, principals, teachers, student councils (https://tiny.pl/9nm8w). We operate with inclusive methods such as design thinking processes or meetings in the form of Open Space Technology, Applied Drama or Long Table. We give young people a space to talk about topics that are important to them, to express their own opinions, talk to their peers about their problems and how to deal with them, how to find solutions. Our actions conducted by young people for young people include: European Youth Week in Konin, the social campaign "What's going on at school", Children's Rights Week, the M-BAZA project - a city online map of youth places, Young Climate Ambassadors project.
