Pó de Ser Assim

Associação Pó de Ser Assim is a non-profit, non-governmental organization created in the end of 2022 in Palmela, Portugal. Founded by 3 old friends who met in 3 different Erasmus+ projects, who came together in order to put their ideas into action. Full of experience in the Erasmus+ field as participants, and having had some opportunities as organizers and facilitators in the past, we believe in being ourselves, true and authentic. Having some friends joining our cause, we formed a multidisciplinary team of 15 active, creative young people, ready to bring their knowledge into practice. As the name “Pó de Ser” plays with its words in portuguese, telling us that it “Can Be” anything and at the same time mentioning a “Being Dust”, that we believe each one of us have it and it’s special, somehow magical and worth being spread into others and the world. Our organization is dedicated to providing young people with opportunities for personal growth and development through cultural exchange and international experiences. By providing opportunities in the fields of art and emotional awareness, through non-formal and informal education, we aim to achieve a profound impact on an individual's perspective, helping them to become more open-minded, discover their passions, and ultimately lead more fulfilling lives. Although we’re certain our team has a huge scope of skills, we want to focus on the areas of: ● Physical and Mental Health, Well-being ● Creativity, Arts and Culture ● Inclusion and Diversity ● Mindfulness ● Sustainability and with Nature ● Active Citizenship We believe that by fostering human connection and empowering individuals, we can make a meaningful difference in our community and little by little spread it to the world.
