International Strategic Management Association is a multilingual Non-Governmental Organisation, with a reputation for delivering high professional services which is based in the historical city of Istanbul, Türkiye. With its thousands of years of history, unique architectural structures, rich cultural texture, millions of populations, and vibrant economic life, Istanbul is an important center of attraction, and was the capital city during the Roman, Eastern Roman/Byzantine, and Ottoman periods. Today İstanbul is Europe’s most populous metropolitan area, with over 20 million residents and a fast-growing economy. Its population has grown rapidly since the middle of the 20th century, mainly driven by internal and external migration from Türkiye’s rural areas. İstanbul is massively rich in cultural heritage, and the historic peninsula of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage site. İstanbul blends tradition and modernity of an ancient city with an unparalleled cultural heritage, also possessing a strong economy, a young population, and an increasingly vibrant contemporary cultural scene. The organisation’s main purpose is to carry out activities in the fields of culture, art, technology and digitalization, health, employment, sports, creativity, development of skills and competencies, protection of the environment, agriculture, international studies, and capacity building, youth, vocational education, and adult education. Although the organisation is a newcomer, the team has vast experience in EU, Erasmus+, Horizon Europe Programs, and project management, including areas under European Commission and strategic documents priority such as agriculture, digital, green economy, social inclusion. The organisation is governed by a small administrative council of members, who are experts in the fields of academia, economics, finances, education and training, ICT, System design, health and sport, social and cultural sciences, youth, project consultation and entrepreneurship etc. We have a vast collaboration coming from businesses, educational institutions, associations, public institutions, NGOs, and others. The organisation works in close partnership with organizations, institutions, and professionals from all over the European Union, aiming at encouraging the international cooperation in the fields of science and education, culture and arts, tourism, health, entrepreneurship and sustainable development. Our main objective is to promote cross-sector integration and cooperation between civil society organizations, businesses, public institutions, and educational bodies, to facilitate innovation and the emergence of breakthrough solutions to societal challenges. Our integration with this structure allows us to further expand our networks, create synergies, promote innovation in education/training, creating/developing student/teacher/syllabuses/guidelines, and toolkits.
