ECCA Social

ECCA was founded in the Canary Islands in 1965, has +50 offices across Spain and over 30 years experience in promoting the improvement of living conditions of the most vulnerable population. ECCA is one of the leading organisations in the EU Southern border in the field of women's rights, migration and global citizenship, social vulnerability, international development and cooperation and environmental awareness raising. The Mission and purposes of ECCA Social essentially consist of: Contributing to the construction of more just, equitable, egalitarian, intercultural, diverse and sustainable societies, promoting the empowerment and improvement of the living conditions of the most vulnerable population, and in parallel , promoting a critical and conscious citizenship aligned with these objectives. The achievement of these purposes will be carried out through training, guidance, accompaniment, awareness-raising, education for development and any type of programs that facilitate the achievement of said objectives, both in Spain and Europe and in other countries, through international development cooperation programs.
