Asociación Tecnova

In accordance with article 22 of the Spanish Constitution, the non-profit association called ASOCIACIÓN SOCIOCULTURAL “TECNOVA”, hereinafter The Association, is hereby established, with its own legal personality and capacity to act and which shall be governed by Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22, regulating the Right of Association, Law 4/2003, of February 28, on Associations of the Canary Islands, other complementary provisions and by these Statutes. The Association's objectives are as follows: a) To promote active participation processes with people in the area through the promotion of activities. b) To facilitate the integration of the recipients of the activities in the immediate surroundings, through the implementation of projects at a regional, national and international level. c) To promote and create resources that offer precise training and information to people on matters relevant to their knowledge. d) To generate information networks that enable people to learn about their immediate reality and develop their capabilities. Likewise, this entity will create and participate in collaboration networks with both public and private entities at a regional, national and/or European level. e) To promote, support, provide services and create spaces for coordination with other associations and foundations, as well as with other entities and other public and private organizations that carry out their activity in the area. f) To provide training services for entities and individuals, as well as non-formal educational activities, especially in the field of innovation. g) Provide support to projects and initiatives promoted by public or private entities. h) Promote own projects and programs aimed at the recipients. i) Participate in the processing, execution, evaluation and monitoring of projects and programs at regional, national and European level. j) Promote the capacity for innovation and creativity in the recipients of the activities, especially in the field of technological innovation. k) Disseminate programs and projects of all kinds, as well as community institutions and resources. l) Collaborate and promote the development of international activities within the European Union or outside Europe. m) Collaborate and promote the development of activities for entrepreneurs as a service provider to them, promoting the entrepreneurial vocation among the recipients. n) Collaborate and promote the development of activities for the elderly as a service provider to them. o) Collaborate and promote the development of activities for people who suffer from some type of disability as a service provider to people with functional diversity. In this sense, the entity will carry out activities to fight poverty and social exclusion. p) Promote cultural activities within the scope of the association. q) Require public institutions to comply with laws, regulations or action plans that affect the quality of life of the community, its training and the information they need to access, on an equal basis, all activities and/or calls generated by them. r) Promote the promotion of equal treatment and opportunities between women and men, the promotion of women and the prevention or intervention regarding discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. s) Promote natural conservation and defence, as well as disseminate the wealth of our ecosystems. This entity will commit to Climate Change as an ecological and environmentalist entity. t) Collaborate and promote the development of sports activities where health and the promotion of healthy attitudes are paramount. u) Collaborate and promote the development of activities for young people as a service provider to them. The organization will provide services to young people in its own field of activity by organizing activities aimed at them. The association has a youth section.
