Magicball Bacau association was established in 2018 in the city of Bacau, and it is certificated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, having the purpose of promoting a healthy life in the community among youngsters and their parents. ‘Embracing sports and fun’ has become a purpose to work on for Magicball Association members, led by PhD Associate Professor Ciocan Catalin, with expertise in Sports, Physical education and sciences of movement. Every year, the association works with around 60 students in the community, with ages ranging 6-18 years old, focusing on physical games and education, organized sports activties, game based learning, orienteering and outdoor education. The sports identity certificate of the association aims at basketball, cycling, orienteering, chess, sports activities for disabled persons, but we cooperate with a diversity of sports fields partners from local schools and university, to local leisure clubs and local authorities. Among the association staff there are also: a language teacher, a sports theory teacher, a kinesiotherapy expert and a nutritionist.
