Asociación Cultural Teatro Lar

Teatro Lar (L4R) is a cultural association based in Sepúlveda, Spain. Since its beginnings, the organisation has worked at the intersection of new technologies, performing arts and community engagement to explore cultural and social issues. Through our projects and productions, we bring stories to life, connect identities and contribute to meaningful cultural impact in rural contexts. For us, lar represents a way of building community in rural areas through artistic social projects that foster social transformation. We work to strengthen the connection with nature and local heritage, using digital tools to communicate and preserve the stories of our villages. Within this framework, we develop non formal artistic education workshops based on digital art, videomapping and social theatre, especially aimed at young people. These methodologies allow us to address topics such as gender equality, social inclusion and environmental sustainability through a creative, participatory and accessible approach. Our activities are carried out in collaboration with schools, municipalities and public institutions, with the aim of involving the whole community and promoting intergenerational dialogue. Our commitment to sustainability and inclusion is reflected in the use of recycled materials in our activities and in the creation of performances accessible to all audiences. Each project embodies our ecological and social values, reaffirming our belief that art can be a conscious, respectful and transformative tool in service of both community and environment.
