Mo.SCA is an organization with almost 3 years of existence that is involved in Erasmus + with different activities. Mo.SCA arose from the need to support quality volunteering, providing opportunities for young people and individuals within the youth sector, but also within culture and the arts. Due to our background, we have found that the European Solidarity Corps, as well as Erasmus +, is a great tool for promoting quality volunteer service and supporting these young people with fewer opportunities. Moreover, being able to contribute to and participate in non-formal education activities is something that fully motivates us. As its name suggests, Mo.SCA - Mobility, Solidarity, Culture, and Art, these words could be established as our main objectives or pillars. The board of directors and the most active members of Mo.SCA have backgrounds related to culture, art, youth, and social sciences. In December 2023, training was conducted for youth workers on urban spaces: "Urban and Audiovisual Art as a Tool for Youth Participation." The training brought together youth workers and young people from 5 different countries (Spain, the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, and Romania) to learn audiovisual techniques as a tool for re-signifying public spaces. The success of this training was the dissemination actions both during and after the training, as well as a digitized toolkit on how to replicate the actions. In February 2025, we conducted another training within KA153: “Sharing good practices for youth exchanges”. Its greatest success will be the guide on good practices that will be published in the coming months. Little by little and year after year, we are gaining more experience as an organization. However, the board of directors and more active individuals within the association have experience that aids in its evolution and development: Marina, an expert in mobility projects, has been part of various projects related to Erasmus + and the European Solidarity Corps for over 10 years. After completing local action volunteering within the Erasmus+ program in Gijón in 2012, she later decided to participate in a youth meeting followed by her own EVS (European Voluntary Service). It was there that she fully engaged by organizing a youth exchange as part of her personal EVS project. During this period of several years, she also trained in various training courses such as "ID Tester" (on inclusion and diversity), "The Process of Change" (on group dynamics and life), or "TYE" (tools for conducting youth meetings). In addition to her volunteering experience, she is a Social Worker and Educator with a master's degree from Pablo de Olavide University in Art Therapy and applications of art for social dialogue. Her work has always involved with vulnerable groups. She coordinated the CES program for over two years at an organization in Granada. She is currently the president of Mo.SCA. Dominique Serena, vice president of Mo.SCA association, is an professor, theatre researcher, director, and cultural manager with over 20 years of experience in international cooperation. She founded Le SAIDEN (2003), a volunteering organization focused on cultural exchange between Africa and Italy. She has coordinated four projects on interculturality in the Republic of Benin. She teaches in the Master's program on Inclusive and Intercultural Education at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR). An expert in workshops on identity/otherness through performing arts, she has worked with refugees, migrants, and at-risk youth. Additionally, she has carried out participatory artistic projects with local communities in peripheral neighbourhoods of Seville (Spain) and Naples (Italy). Currently, she manages Mo.SCA's social media networks, thus providing visibility to its projects. Isabel holds a degree in Business Sciences from Pablo de Olavide University, a degree in Dramatic Arts from ESAD de Sevilla, and a Master's degree in Cultural Management from Alcalá de Henares University. In continuous training, she has completed numerous courses related to performing arts: dubbing, on-camera acting, programming and staging shows among others. She worked as an actress in two feature films for Andalusian television in 1993 and 1996; participated as an actress in 15 productions from the Theatre Classroom at Pablo de Olavide University; and was a monitor for the group for one year. She has been part of the theater group DeMomentoNo and Cía IsTrione with which she won the audience award at the Microteatro Festival 2015. She has worked as a theatre monitor at all levels: children’s groups, adolescents, university students, and seniors. Currently she handles Mo.SCA's accounting along with other artistic-related tasks. For now, our main objective is to offer these programs to individuals with fewer opportunities while sharing experiences, training sessions, weaknesses, and strengths with other organizations working within similar frameworks. We have recently been accredited as a supporting organization under CES program.
