Aps Parole Controvento

Founded in Trieste in 2018. Through theater, music, literature, and other artistic expressions, Parole Controvento facilitates cultural and social dialogue, inspired by the story of the Hummingbird that "does its part" in the world, even when small. Parole Controvento’s event management relies on solid administrative organization, including the ability to coordinate complex projects and collaborate with local and regional partners. The association has successfully managed variable budgets and secured both public and private funding. Our strong partnerships with the Municipality of Trieste, cultural institutions, and other organizations enable us to create high- impact events that enhance symbolic locations in the region. Our venue is a unique cultural hub, reflecting the historical and social transformations of Trieste. Located in Trieste, a border city and cultural crossroads, our space embodies inclusivity and multiculturalism. Here, Italians and Slovenians collaborate, creating a setting where diversity enriches the community. Each event and project serves as an opportunity to break down barriers, build bridges, and celebrate shared histories.
