Arsuz District Directorate of National Education

rsuz District Directorate of National Education is the official public authority responsible for overseeing all educational institutions and youth-related initiatives in Arsuz, a coastal district in Hatay, Türkiye. As a local branch of the Turkish Ministry of National Education, the Directorate coordinates formal and non-formal education, supports inclusive learning environments, and promotes youth empowerment through strategic partnerships and EU programs. Following the devastating earthquakes of February 2023, Arsuz has become a focal point for educational recovery and youth resilience. The Directorate plays a key role in rebuilding not only physical infrastructure but also the social and emotional well-being of young people in the region. In recent years, the institution has expanded its scope to include: Youth participation and civic engagement projects Environmental education and climate resilience programs Digital transformation in schools and youth services International cooperation through Erasmus+ and eTwinning For the KA154-YOU project “Voices Beyond Borders – Youth Dialogue for Green and Digital Recovery”, the Directorate acts as the coordinating organization. It mobilizes local youth, educators, and decision-makers to co-create solutions for post-disaster recovery, environmental sustainability, and digital inclusion. The institution provides access to schools, youth centers, and public spaces for project activities, and ensures strong community involvement. With a dedicated team of educators, youth workers, and project specialists, Arsuz District Directorate of National Education is committed to building a more resilient, inclusive, and future-ready generation.
