Crumlin Lower Advancing Youth

CLAY is a community-based Youth Centre, purpose built to provide and facilitate a fully integrated, caring and innovative youth project for the young people of the Lower Crumlin and surrounding areas. Since the Centre opened in 2004, CLAY has been facilitating a wide range of programmes and activities for young people aged from 8 to 25 years. CLAY has an energetic and dynamic team of youth workers and support staff, who have the passion and commitment to work with the young people and the community to fulfil CLAY's vision and goals. CLAY provides and facilitates a range of services and programmes, which has an intended impact to progress life opportunities for young people, supporting them to fully participate in their community. The core of our work is to deliver a young person-centered programme of youth work that engages the young person/child in a programme of development that support their social and emotional development and life skills. We achieve this by working with young people 'where they are at' to participate and find belonging in various fun, creative and learning opportunities. CLAY also works with young people to support them to identify and overcome barriers in their lives supporting them to get where they want to be.
