Mavi Ay Özel Çocuklar Spor Kulübü

Mavi Ay Special Children Sports Club is a non-profit NGO based in Türkiye, active since 2016. We are dedicated to the physical, social, and psychological development of individuals with Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities. Our core methodology focuses on specialized movement education to improve: * Motoric Skills: Developing fine and gross motor skills, balance, and eye-hand coordination. * Social Integration: Overcoming communication barriers and enhancing social adaptation. * Self-Esteem: Building self-confidence through sports and active participation. Beyond basic physical education, our strategic goal is to transform our students into licensed athletes. We prepare our children for official championships organized by the Turkish Special Athletes Sports Federation. By branching out into specific sports such as gymnastics, swimming, and athletics, we aim to provide these children with a "professional sportsman identity" and integrate them fully into society through formal competitions. We are currently working towards establishing the "Mavi Ay Academy" to create a sustainable, world-class training model for special needs individuals.
