Exil solidaire

Exil Solidaire is a non-profit association under the French Law of 1901, founded in the context of the war in Ukraine and the increasing repression in Russia and Belarus. We bring together Russian-speaking migrants in France to support their path toward autonomy, democratic participation, and integration into their new society. Our mission is to promote the protection of migrants’ rights, facilitate adaptation, and contribute to building a positive image of the Russian-speaking diasporas. We develop our activities through four complementary areas: ● Access to rights and social support — we provide reliable information, assist with administrative procedures, and organize educational and cultural events. ● Community support and initiative incubation — we help civic projects grow by connecting activists and volunteers. ● Media and education — we create and disseminate educational materials and amplify migrant voices. ● Activism and human rights advocacy — we encourage civic engagement and organize advocacy campaigns in defense of human rights and democracy. Our core values are: ● democracy and pacifism, ● solidarity between different waves of migration, ● intercultural dialogue, ● recognition of the right to make mistakes and the capacity for self-correction. The first project of Exil Solidaire was an integration guide — a resource designed to support migrants from former soviet countries on their journey in France. It helps them maintain their personal and professional trajectory, navigate administrative procedures, and access essential information for successful adaptation regardless of their status. The guide includes over 150 articles covering key aspects of daily life, offering practical advice, useful links, and testimonials from migrants. It was created in a spirit of solidarity and mutual support.
