DLRG Ortsgruppe Georgsmarienhütte e.V.

DLRG is a volunteer water rescue organization in Germany. Our local group is active in lifeguard training, water safety education, first aid training and disaster response. A strong focus of our work is youth development. Young members are trained in swimming, lifesaving techniques, teamwork and leadership through regular training, exercises and real-life operations. We are interested in international cooperation with organizations working in water rescue, first aid, civil protection or youth work. Through Erasmus+ youth exchanges we would like to organize joint training camps, workshops and practical exercises to share knowledge and strengthen international cooperation in rescue and safety. Possible topics for cooperation include: water rescue and lifesaving techniques first aid and event medical services disaster response and civil protection youth leadership and volunteering We are open to hosting or participating in international youth exchanges and training activities.
