Latvian Red Cross Committee in Alūksne

Latvian Red Cross (LSK) is an organization of members and voluntary members, activities of whom occupy the whole territory of Latvia. LSK Committee in Alūksne has been operating since the beginning of the last century. It supports low income inhabitants, giving them charity help in the whole territory of Alūksne municipality. Without any charge second-hand clothing, foot wear, bed linen, blankets, toys and means of conveyance are distributed to people with special needs. Youth Department has been operating in Alūksne Municipality since some years ago. Their voluntary people are great support for local Alūksne Committee in their work.
