AHEAD Association was founded in 2013 as a result of the need to provide alternative education on social integration and involvement of children and young people belonging to disadvantaged groups. The Association's mission is the development of abilities and skills that help children and young people to integrate into society using volunteering. Scope to promote and develop activities that lead to the development of human resources in Brasov county. Objectives: • In the social: -to carry out activities aimed at social inclusion; -support and guidance in filling a job; -the possibility of forming a prior employment experience; • In the field of education: -to offer alternative knowledge and learning of children and young people using social psychology and non-formal methods; • In the area of supporting youth: -promotion of youth activities; -to carry out vocational guidance and counseling activities for young people; • Environmental protection -to initiate and coordinate projects related to environmental protection in the area; -to coordinate ecological activities; Activities and projects in the first year of existence were held locally and focused collaboration with public institutions and private companies. The organization worked with the contribution of four specialists (social worker, psychologist, specialist in public relations and engineer) who have developed projects of mentoring activities and social inclusion using social psychology and nonformal learning methods.
