Association for Poland-Azerbaijan Cooperation

From the very beginning our community members actively participate in the major international events and projects related to Polish-East issues. Until now our portfolio includes inter alia: • Management and supervision over recently completed project “Azerbaijan – European Charm Of The Orient”; • Partnership with Economic Forum in Krynica Zdrój, which included carrying out a discussion on Azerbaijani issues as well as the organization of Azeri cultural evening for all participants; • Partnership and cooperation with Baltic Business Forum, where we also had the opportunity to give a speech and lead the discussion. The President of our society – Mr. Dawid Cecuda has been appointed the member of The Program Board of the following annual event; • Active attendance in the organization of international debate devoted to Poland and East at The Fifth European Congress of Small and Medium Enterprises in Katowice. Also here the Society has been made a partner of the event; • A series of cultural events held in cooperation with The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Poland, i.e. promotional stall in Katowice on the main square. The pedestrians were given a chance to read promotional materials and books about Azerbaijan as well as to taste Azerbaijani cuisine; • Organization and assistance of the Third International Poland-Azerbajian conference, which took in the previous year; • Academic mission to Azerbaijan, which took place this year and resulted in numerous meetings and our cooperation with Baku Slavic University, State Economic University in Baku and Azerbajian Academy of Diplomacy. We had also the opportunity to meet with the President of The National Non-Governmental Organizations’ Forum of Azerbajian in order to discuss the details of our mutual cooperation. Our previous experience covers cooperation with more than 100 local and international organizations. Mainly we focus on transferring ideas, information, experiences, knowledge and know-how about creating new initiatives and common participation in organized projects.
