ComunicareilSociale.it is an association that works in synergy with the cooperative Camera a Sud in the field of audio-visual productions and the social communication with a particular focus on the digital and media communication tools and social video-research. The association grew up with the mission of trying to address two needs in the no profit world: to effectively communicate (with relapses on the no profit organizations visibility and in the perspective of fundraising), to communicate in modalities that are economically sustainable and with a specific language. ComunicareilSociale.it was born in 2010 as the founders won the regional call: “Principi Attivi 2010: giovani idee per una Puglia migliore” with the homonymous project (Comunicareilsociale.it): it is the first social network dedicated to social workers, video-makers, volunteers and all Italian active citizens. It is a thematic web portal, a multiform channel made for gathering, spreading and sharing self-produced videos, news, projects and social work events (http://www.comunicareilsociale.it/). Moreover, in 2012 the association participated in the European network that won the call “Programma di Apprendimento Permanente Leonardo da Vinci – Azione Partenariati Multilaterali” (current Erasmus plus, KA2: “Cooperation for Innovation and the exchange of good practices”) with the project “Community Media Empowering Program”: a project focused on studying, exchanging transnational good practices, education and development of methodologies to use social media and new technologies in the social communication.
