Founded in 2012, the Institute for Cultural Relations Policy (ICRP) is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation fostering scientific education and public discourse regarding cultural relations policy. The institution is run by Kulturalis Kapcsolatokert Alapitvany, based in Budapest, Hungary. The ICRP focuses on global intercultural dialogue and forms of cooperation between intra-cultural entities, aiming to promote the protection of International Human Rights and recognition of cultural diversity and heritage in an interdependent world. ICRP Budapest also puts a great emphasis on the skills development of young generations by offering various training opportunities to young people. The foundation is committed to help the formal and non-formal education of its target groups and to support the social integration young people with fewer opportunities. The foundation has offices in France, Finland, Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine and Mali with similar structure, aims and objectives as the ICRP Budapest has. The ICRP has huge experience in intercultural learning. The institute has been actively participating in the Erasmus+ programme (before 2014 in the Youth in Action programme) both as partner organisation and applicant. Since 2014, we have been involved in nearly 150 projects as partner organisation (mostly in KA1 youth exchanges, trainings and -making seminars) and 15 of our own applications have been supported.
