KEKPA-DIEK (Social Enterprise for Social Protection and Solidarity-Municipal Institute of Vocational Training)

KEKPA-DIEK (Social Enterprise for Social Protection and Solidarity-Municipal Institute of Vocational Training), is the municipal social enterprise of the Municipality of Volos (Thessaly region in central Greece) founded in July 2011 (Government Gazette / B / 1316 / 16-06-2011: Decision 2: 253 / 2011) after the merger in the new municipality of Volos of 8 former municipal enterprises from 8 municipal units (Volos, Nea Ionia, Nea Anchialos, Aesonia, Portaria, Agria, Iolkos, Artemida) and of the Municipal Institute of Vocational Training (DIEK). These municipal enterprises as well as DIEK had extensive experience in implementing projects and actions during the previous years. The main field of activity of KEKPA-DIEK focuses on supporting the Municipality of Volos in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of its social policy. It is the main body implementing the social policy of the municipality mainly through the programmes it implements. KEKPA-DIEK's actions focus on individuals belonging to social vulnerable and / or excluded groups. KEKPA-DIEK, with a staff of 200+ employees, is a member in various networks and it has been certified since August 2012 by MIRTEC SA (EVETAM) with the Certificate of Conformity of Managerial Capability of Organizations Implementing Projects of Public Interest (current Certificate: MIRTEC1-01-6084CER11.5081800120 valid until August 2021) according to the standard requirements: ELOT 1429: 2008 (ELOT 1431-2 & ELOT 1432-3). Youth volunteering actions (hosting / sending young volunteers) are in line with the aims, philosophy and purpose of the actions and structures of the enterprise as reflected in Article 3 of its statutes (Government Gazette / B / 1316 / 16-06 2011, p. 18417). The structures of KEKPA-DIEK, listed below and located throughout the current metropolitan municipality of Volos, constitute a great 'pool' of choice for young volunteers who wish to know and become familiar with issues of combating social exclusion and discrimination, with vulnerable social groups such as Romas, people with disabilities, etc., with the creative activities of children of all ages, etc. ................... H ΚΕΚΠΑ-ΔΙΕΚ (Κοινωφελής Επιχείρηση Κοινωνικής Προστασίας και Αλληλεγγύης-Δημοτικό Ινστιτούτο Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης), είναι η κοινωφελής δημοτική επιχείρηση του Δήμου Βόλου που ιδρύθηκε τον Ιούλιο του 2011 (ΦΕΚ/Β/1316/16-06-2011: Απόφαση 2: 253/2011) μετά τη συγχώνευση στο νέο ενιαίο Δήμο Βόλου 8 πρώην δημοτικών επιχειρήσεων από 8 δημοτικές ενότητες (Βόλος, Ν.Ιωνία, Ν.Αγχίαλος, Αισωνία, Πορταριά, Αγριά, Ιωλκός, Αρτέμιδα) και του Δημοτικού Ινστιτούτου Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης (ΔΙΕΚ). Αυτές οι δημοτικές επιχειρήσεις αλλά και το ΔΙΕΚ είχαν μεγάλη εμπειρία στην υλοποίηση έργων και δράσεων τα προηγούμενα χρόνια. Ο κύριος τομέας δραστηριότητας της ΚΕΚΠΑ-ΔΙΕΚ επικεντρώνεται στο να υποστηρίζει το Δήμο Βόλου στο σχεδιασμό, υλοποίηση, παρακολούθηση και αξιολόγηση της κοινωνικής του πολιτικής. Αποτελεί τον κύριο φορέα εφαρμογής της κοινωνικής πολιτικής του Δήμου κυρίως μέσω των προγραμμάτων που υλοποιεί. Οι δράσεις της ΚΕΚΠΑ-ΔΙΕΚ επικεντρώνονται στα άτομα που ανήκουν σε κοινωνικά ευάλωτες ή/και αποκλεισμένες ομάδες. Η ΚΕΚΠΑ-ΔΙΕΚ με προσωπικό 200+ ατόμων είναι μέλος σε διάφορα δίκτυα και είναι πιστοποιημένη από τον Αύγουστο του 2012 από την MIRTEC S.A. (ΕΒΕΤΑΜ Α.Ε.) με το Πιστοποιητικό Συμμόρφωσης Συστήματος Διαχειριστικής Επάρκειας (τρέχων αρ.πιστοπ.: MIRTEC1-01-6084CER11.5081800120 με διάρκεια ως τον Αύγουστο του 2021) σύμφωνα με τις απαιτήσεις του προτύπου: ΕΛΟΤ 1429:2008 (ΕΛΟΤ 1431-2 & ΕΛΟΤ 1432-3). Οι δράσεις εθελοντισμού νέων (υποδοχή-αποστολή νέων εθελοντών) συνάδουν με τους σκοπούς, τη φιλοσοφία και το στόχο των δράσεων και των δομών της επιχείρησης όπως αποτυπώνεται στο Άρθρο 3 της ιδρυτικής πράξης της ΚΕΚΠΑ-ΔΙΕΚ (ΦΕΚ/Β/1316/16-06-2011, σελ. 18417).
