1. The Community Development and Continuing Education Institute is a modern Palestinian non-for-profit institute with up-to-date facilities, a specialized HR and financial system, and a dynamic website (http://www.cdce-i.org/). Established in 2010 and licensed by the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, CDCE-I has carried out a wide spectrum of programs on a national level including Civic Participation, Citizens’ Rights, Career Counseling, Good Governance, Entrepreneurship, Employment, Capacity Building, Awareness Raising, youth exchange, and Advocacy programs targeting different sectors (private, public, and civic. Youth and women empowerment and full integration of People with Disabilities (PwDs) are cross-cutting issues in CDCE-I’s programs. CDCE-I is affiliated with Palestine Ahliya University (& located on its campus); an entrepreneurial higher education institute with excellent connections with schools and universities in Southern WB. As Bethlehem governorate debate hub since 2015, and in addition to its membership in several networks and forums on the national level (including Anna Lindh Palestinian Steering committee network membership), CDCE-I has strong networks with LGUs, youth-serving Community-Based Organizations (CBOs/DPOs), and other stakeholders in the southern part of the West Bank. CDCE-I has also been working with marginalized youth and women through human & legal rights activities and civic empowerment programs.
This organisation is accredited to run projects under Erasmus+ Volunteering and the European Solidarity Corps. This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label.
