About Organization
ATD Quart Monde is an international human rights movement that fights against poverty and social exclusion. Our aim is the eradication of poverty which we try to achieve through a human-rights based approach. We work for a society where nobody is left behind and where everyone has a place. Consequently, our main target group includes people affected by poverty and social exclusion, as well as people who sympathise with them and fight side by side and for a fair world. Our actions include in particular group activities in the form of public actions, creative workshops for youth and adults (e.g. creative workshops, work with wood, writing workshops, handicraft projects, participation in a video project), Fourth World People's University (exchanges, discussions and presentations to the public) and cultural activities (e.g. theater, events, parks, trips, celebration of 17th october, etc.)
