Board School "Docho Mihailov"

Board School "Docho Mihailov" is a non-governmental organization established in 2004, which is managed by a three-member board. All members of the association perform community service activities on a voluntary basis. The main strategic goals of the organization are development and promotion of education in the municipality of Tervel, supporting the processes of education and upbringing of children and youth, integration of minorities and positive impact on marginalized young people, involving young people in active participation in non-formal learning. improving the teaching and learning of foreign languages, developing volunteering, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, promoting environmental sustainability and a responsible attitude towards the environment. The organization provides information, counseling and training to young people on various topics; interacts with organizations for professional orientation and realization; prepares programs and projects to create additional opportunities for young people; takes care of providing additional financial and material resources for the needs of the educational process in PGTO "Docho Mihailov"; motivates and informs minority groups for inclusion in the educational process and for obtaining professional qualification and competencies; establishes partnerships with other non-governmental organizations and public sector organizations to achieve the goals of the organization. "School Board of PGTO" Docho Mihailov "carries out activities that develop the interests of young people, promote cultural diversity, form an active civic position, understanding and tolerance, serve for preventive activities and meaningful leisure time of young people. The organization contributes to the Europeanization of youth activities in the municipality of Tervel, the promotion of volunteering, including the implementation of solidarity activities, through the opportunities provided by Europe under the European Solidarity Corps.
