De Ark Gouda is een gemeenschap voor mensen met en zonder verstandelijke beperking. Wij zijn onderdeel van de internationale federatie van L'Arche Communities. Opgericht door Jean Vanier in 1964. De federatie heeft meer dan 150 gemeenschappen in 40 landen. Wij zijn sinds 1994 in Gouda en hebben 2 locaties. Er zijn ca. 28 parttime medewerkers en een grote kring van vrijwilligers. Wij bieden 24-uurs zorg aan 11 bewoners hebben 3 logés en dagbesteding aan 20 mensen met eveneens een verstandelijke beperking. De zorg bieden wij aan in twee verschillende woongroepen (Arkhuis Manna en de Waterput) en onze dagbesteding bestaat uit een creatief (binnen) atelier en tuinactiviteiten op diverse locaties in de buurt
