The Association of Young Trainers for Promoting Rural Development, is a youth association, founded in 2009. The idea of setting up this association belongs to a group of trainers from Valcea County, who wanted to promote training skills among young people in Valcea, especially among young people in the rural area. Mainly ATFPDR aims to improve the quality of rural education system in Valcea but also involve local factors in the educational process. We want the implementation of training for both young teachers and for students, unemployed and others in need. Another priority will be given to the accreditation of new innovative training, to provide new learning opportunities for those interested. ATFPDR ACTIVITIES • Vocational training for the youth, disadvantaged youth, ethnic minorities, unemployed. • International youth exchanges. • Establishment and implementation of social programs. • Establishment and implementation of cultural and civic programs. • Rural development and rural youth access to forms of non-formal learning. • Training sessions in accredited institutions. • Promoting transnational mobility. • Organization of summer camps. • Organization of seminars, conferences and exhibitions. • Developing web pages for promoting civic and cultural youth activities. • Establishment and implementation of projects from EU funds.
This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps. — Scope: Volunteering
