A RUOTA LIBERA - APS

A Ruota Libera Onlus is a non-profit organisation working in a field of disability, based in the south of Rome. Since 2008 the organization manages a social farm which functions as a day center and targets people with intellectual disabilities and focuses on their inclusion, development of autonomy and social skills. By using big variety of non formal education methods and involving them into occupational garden and animal therapy activities the organisation creates a safe, supportive and adapting environment for the personal and inter-personal growth. Since 2015 A Ruota Libera is hosting short and long term EVS volunteers working in the field of disability, outdoor education and social work. Moreover the organization cooperates with other NGOs to host and send groups and individual youngsters with less opportunities, also the ones needing additional support, into international projects.
