About Organization
NCCS is an Albanian NGO with headquarters in Tirana, implementing projects all over Albania and cooperating crossborder with partners in neighboring countries in the development and humanitarian aid. It supports groups in need through intermediation for employment, offering services, raising awareness, researching social issues, etc. It has a full-time staff of 4, with a long experience in NGO sectors and other part-time staff depending on the expertise of projects. NCCS’ staff works to strengthen the institutional, programmatic, and managerial capacities of Roma NGOs. NCCS has now the status of Social Enterprise as an intermediating agency and has employed 300 women in financial difficulties. NCCS's vision is to support sustainable economic development in Albania which also includes both environmental protection and social cohesion. Our objectives are: 1. Building capacities of Albanian NGOs through training and coaching 2. Awareness raising on engagement as active citizens through face-to-face meetings with local communities with different means of information, including social media, articles in the written media, documentaries, TV spots, leaflets, and posters. 3. Scientific research and offering of services, including intermediation for employment, legal advice, etc. NCCS's mission is to provide services to address community needs in the field of public health, humanities, social welfare, etc.
