ALBA JUSSÀ SCCL

Founded in 2018, Alba Jussà SCCL is a non-profit organization located in Tremp (Catalonia, Spain) that works to attend the necessities of children, teenagers and adults with disabilities, mental health disorders and/or at risk of social exclusion. The association’s main goal is to offer comprehensive care to its target group according to their needs and interests – and those of their families - in order to achieve their maximum human development and promote social inclusion. Alba Jussà is composed of different areas: occupational therapy, mental health, housing, labour, social justice, community, social incubator and other multidisciplinary teams. Also, Alba Jussà is part of a bigger group of social economy organisations called Grup Alba which is composed of an association (Associació Alba), a foundation (Fundació Alba Futur), a leisure cooperative (Cooperativa Lleure Quàlia), a sports club (Club Alba) and an employment social enterprise (Alba inserció). Finally, the cooperative is part of different networks at a local (ALLEM, TSMPJ) and regional (Salut Mental Catalunya) level. At the moment (2021), Alba Jussà provides support to 55 users and employs 25 professionals - 3 of them with disabilities. The whole Grup Alba (including Alba Jussà) has 461 professionals – 64 with disabilities – and offers its services to almost 4000 beneficiaries.
