Asociacion Casa Kuna

Casa Kuna is a non-profit organization that has been carrying out its activities for the past four years. Its objective is to provide training to individuals in vulnerable situations to create opportunities for their comprehensive social inclusion. This project stems from the need to promote social cohesion in the city, adopting a social, multicultural, and ecological approach. To achieve this, Casa Kuna conducts training activities in various trades, innovatively ensuring meaningful learning experiences for individuals with obstacles or low qualifications. This, in turn, promotes employment and the creation of socio-occupational pathways, accumulating valuable experience. Additionally, Casa Kuna facilitates intercultural and intergenerational mediation processes with the neighborhood residents and others in need. In this regard, it also promotes spaces for psychosocial support, such as self-help groups and recreational and cultural activities that enhance community well-being. Furthermore, it fosters community awareness regarding diverse realities related to gender, religion, migration, etc. The organization provides training in these subjects. Casa Kuna advocates for the reduction of environmental impact by decreasing waste through transformation and circular economy principles. This focus is integrated into all the training programs. The organization is committed to social innovation, developing strategies for efficient and effective intervention.
