Asociatia Harsova 3D

Asociația Hârșova 3D is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the sustainable development of our historic community on the Danube River. Our name reflects our core "3D" mission: fostering Development, Dialogue, and Digitization. We empower children and young people, from ages 6 to 30, to become active agents of change by connecting Hârșova's rich cultural heritage with the skills of the future. Our goal is to promote active citizenship and solidarity. We achieve this through hands-on, non-formal workshops where youth develop key skills in areas like digital media, environmental protection, and project management. We strengthen the community fabric by hosting vibrant local events, from cultural festivals to ecological actions that protect our beloved Danube. A key part of our work involves innovative digital heritage projects, engaging youth in documenting and creating virtual tours of our ancient Roman settlement, Carsium. We foster an inclusive, intercultural environment through language cafes and community gatherings that celebrate diversity. While our focus is on empowering youth, especially those with fewer opportunities, our projects are intergenerational and designed to benefit everyone in Hârșova, building a more connected and sustainable future together.
