About Organization
The Bizitegi association is founded by people who voluntarily respond to the realities of exclusion that arise in our nearby community. In this way, we understand that our vision is to eliminate the distance that exists between people who live in situations of exclusion and the rest of society. The people we work with are defined by their limited support network, exercise of their rights as citizens, and participation in social life. For all these reasons, they need support and guidance so that they can exercise their rights and gain confidence in the social protection system. As relationships and trust are established, they can gradually become involved in participatory and community activities.Community activities. This activity consists of accompanying people in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion Establishing relationships of equality and a support system for those who need it. Bonds are established based on affection and respect for others. Being with people who are not usually accompanied contributes to an improvement in their personal perception of quality of life. In this way, we respond to social situations that are identified as problematic and distant from the community and the concept of solidarity values. To respond to all this, we have a network of day and night care services, and a range of different projects designed to meet emerging needs, such as a women-only hostel and community activation projects.
