ASSOCIATION CULTURELLE ET ARTISTIQUE UKRAINE - CHÂTILLON-SUR-SEINE «VINCA»

Our structure, the CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC ASSOCIATION UKRAINE - CHÂTILLON-SUR-SEINE "VINCA," is a Franco-Ukrainian organization aimed at supporting young people. Our main activities include organizing cultural events and solidarity actions promoting intercultural exchange. The main themes addressed by our activities include social and cultural integration, intercultural exchange, solidarity, language education and the promotion of cultural diversity. Young people with fewer opportunities, due to their place of residence or personal circumstances — as is the case, for example, in Ukraine — will be able, through our cultural projects, to explore areas of interest and develop new skills. Our initiative will also enable them to discover and engage with two cultures: French and Ukrainian. For local youth, this project represents a valuable opportunity to access cultural initiatives and international exchanges, which remain limited in rural areas. Specifically, this will involve participation in the Solidarity Festival (FestiSol). As for longer-term projects, it includes the development of our structure and active involvement in its dynamic schedule — such as weekly painting courses for families at the social center of Chatillon-sur-Seine, the development of a third place (tiers-lieu) open to the public in the Chapel of Saint Thibault, a cooperation project between the region BFC and Vinnytsia Oblast and the city of Vinnytsia.
