ACCIÓN BALEAR

ACCIÓN BALEAR is a non-profit organization established in Palma de Mallorca in 2015. We are an EVS accredited sending and coordinating organization and we work closely with our National Agency in orden to promote Erasmus+ Program. Our organization is made up of a multidisciplinary team within both international and local volunteering and youth fields. At present, as a coordinating organization, we are in the accreditation process of several organizations of our community working within different fields as disabled people, children, youth, animal welfare, social inclusion, health and culture; and more and more new organizations are taking part of EVS. Our role is both to promote EVS in our community and help to those organizations in all the process. In Balearic Island there are a lot of well prepared and motivated young people keen to participate in a EVS Project. Thus we assume their training and all our duties as a sending organization.ACCIÓN BALEAR was created in response to the need to promote and coordinate several actions of youth mobility within our region. Our goals: Promoting actions for development, employment, equity and social inclusion. Promoting participation of youth in education, training and sport fields. Promotion, training and awareness about national and international volunteering. Our activities: We frame our actions within the European Youth Mobility Program, to support the Europe 2020 strategy. We actively participate in Erasmus + Program. We support different platforms and volunteer activities. Our target group are young people between 17 and 30 years. On one hand, we headed to youth outside the Spanish State that wants to conduct a European Voluntary Experience in our region (Balearic Islands). In this case, ACCIÓN BALEAR, acts as a coordinating organization and carry out the following functions: We assume the role of applicant and the financial and administrative responsibility for the entire project. We coordinate the project with the cooperation of sending and receiving organizations. We manage administrative tasks for receiving organizations related to the project. We guarantee attendance of all volunteers to complete training and evaluation of the EVS. We guarantee that all receiving organizations involved in our projects know their obligations and the fundamental EVS principles. We provide the necessary support to all volunteers of our coordinated projects: We practice as a tutor. We provide a mentor in each receiving organization, to be used as a communication channel and providing the necessary supervision and guidance to each volunteer. We offer the necessary support to the volunteers to carry out the online language course. We provide support during the learning process and the development of Youthpass. We issue the Certificate. We provide opportunities for all volunteers are integrated into the community, meet other program EVS participants... We provide decent housing and adequate food for all participants. We ensure local and accesible transportation . We provide pocket money allocated on a monthly basis. We ensure that all participants have the European Health Card and are enrolled in insurance plans for EVS Erasmus + Program. On the other hand, we headed to the youth of our region (Balearic Islands) that wants to carry out an European Voluntary Experience. In this case, ACCIÓN BALEAR, acts as a sending organization and carry out the following functions: We give visibility and promote the EVS program between youth of our region. We provide information and advice on the EVS, and how to choose a good project adapted to the profile of each participant. We help the volunteers to find their projects and to receiving organization. We provide adapted training to volunteers before their departure, according to their individual needs and learning opportunities. We offer support on the realization of linguistic preparation. We carry out monthly monitoring of each volunteer through email and / or Skype, to know their evolution and level of satisfaction. We carry out a final joint assessment (ACCIÓN BALEAR + volunteer + receiving organization), once the project is finished. Once the volunteer has returned to our community: We support them to integrate back into the community. We offer opportunities for experience's exchanges. We encourage them to get involved in the dissemination of their experiences and learning outcomes. Ensure their participation in the annual EVS event organized by our National Agency.
