Shahmaten klub "Natsionalna Sportna Akademiya"

Association "Chess Club" is an NGO represents the National Sports Academy's Chess faculty. In 1994, the "National Sports Academy's chess club" was registered as an independent legal entity. In the same year ,the Chess team of the NSA , represented by the Association, for a very first time becomes a winner in the Moscow Olympics. The team, leaded by Veselin Topalov, defeats Kasparov. Since then, the club has organized many national and international chess tournaments. Besides that, there an annual training sessions in schools across the country is conducted regularly. The club offers free counseling for parents and children interested in the sport.
