Youtheon

Youtheon is a Tunisian non-gouvernmental organization based in Jendouba and registered under the number 2019R01324APSF1. At the beginning, it was established as a university club called “The Club of Creation and Technological Innovation”, in 2015 when two classmates decided to create an interactive space for innovation in the higher Institute of Technological Studies of Mahdia. We believe that the club succeeded to change a stagnating environment to a dynamic one. Indeed, we spread a new mind-set of self-education and privilege of values creation that include all the part of the ecosystem such as students, teachers and administration. More than that, we helped huge number of students to improve their capacities and skills through weekly events. After three years of intensive work at the university environment, we shifted from a university actor to be an official active organization in Jendouba city starting from December 2018. Our choice was not randomly, on the contrary, we wanted to put our voluntary efforts to reach one of the most marginalized region in Tunisia (Jendouba). Actually, we aim to empower local youth in order to move from the stage of a concerned community members to engaged citizens. Hence, we can together tackle various issues like the unemployment, the marginalization and the inclusion of the region. We aims to empower Tunisian youth to solve sustainability challenges with a measurable impact. We have worked hard to create new generation of young leaders since we put the main stone of the organization. Indeed, we have launched various projects in the field of technology, entrepreneurship and civil society engagement.
