Hello, my name is Halil İbrahim Çoban and I am a German teacher at Tutluk Anatolian High School in Gaziantep, Turkey. This year, we opened a German course in our school and we improved our German skills by using different method and techniques with our students each school day. At the same time, I am stil taking master degree at Ankara Gazi University and my thesis subject is ‘The Comparison of Second Foreign Language in Turkey and Finland.’ Hereby, I compared both countries educational system, foreign language training and the methods and techniques using for German classes. Also, I tried on the foreign language methods and techniques of Finland upon Turkish students in Tutluk Anatolian high school. Therefore, I would like to do the same thing in Finland. This time, I want to try it on Finn students by using Turkish foreign language methods and techniques. Hence, especially I’d like to reach out Finn teachers and tell them the foreign language methods and techniques of Turkey and are supposed to practice ob their schools after indicating conditions. Eventually, I want to make a comparison between two countries. All in all, I’d like to get in with teachers workin any kind of educational institution in Finland and carry out a joint project.
