Vocational education school 'Hamdi Bushati' located in Shkodra offers 3 educational directions, respectively Economy-Business, Confection-Textile and Hotel-Tourism. In the field of Economy-Tourism we have 2 profiles, respectively Account and Real Estate Agency. In the direction of Hotel-Tourism we have 4 profiles, respectively Kitchen-Pastry, Bar-Restaurant, Tourist Guide and Hotel Services. With the support of the National Agency for the Training and Qualifications of Vocational Education, the school strives to tailor curricula based on market demand. The school has a total staff of 58 people and an academic team of 51 professionals. The Development Unit (DU), an internal structure that functions at the core of the school structure. DU oversees the 7 essential functions of the higher education school: Continuing Professional Development, Curriculum Development, Business Relationships, Career Guidance, Development Projects, Digital Marketing and Tracer at provider level. DU is set up for him designs, implements and supervises the activities and development projects of the institution, in internal support capacity building and quality enhancement, as part of annual plans. DU oversees 7 essential functions: Continuous Professional Development, Curriculum Development, Business Relationships, Career Guidance, Development Projects, Digital Marketing and tracker at provider level. In terms of capacity, the school is equipped with facilities and infrastructure, Internet technology and information systems, supporting the performance of students and teachers. This increase is noticed after the reconstruction of the school in 2017 and from the support provided by Skills for Job, both from the material base in the combined classes, for an effective teaching and learning, as well as in various trainings of the teaching staff and support of students to participate in various competitions, where many first prizes have been won. "Hamdi Bushati" school has 180 partner businesses this year. About 70% of these are partner businesses in the management of Hotel-Tourism. 11th and 12th grade students are the ones who do the internship in business. Students who have agreements with businesses are currently about 430 students. The businesses that our school cooperates with, every year employ our students, who have previously gone there as interns. The interest of businesses towards our school is seen every year growing, so that now the Working Corner has been set up, where businesses place their announcements for employment of our students. The list of cooperating businesses includes the best hotels and restaurants in the city of Shkodra, but the number of partner businesses from the outskirts of the city is growing, which facilitates our professional practice for students from rural areas and especially for girls, the number of which is increasing every year.
