About Organization
Accoord is a non-profit association that, with the support of the City of Nantes and the CAF (French social security office), creates educational activities for all audiences through our more than 40 leisure centres, our 17 youth clubs and our 22 socio-cultural centres. We are focused on promoting cooperation and intercultural exchange through various non-formal teaching methods. Through creative, inclusive, and innovative exercises, our association brings culture and community values closer to all neighborhoods in Nantes. Freedom, equality, humanism, secularism, and solidarity are the foundations on which our work is built, structured around seven key areas: food, health and well-being; digitalism; education and co-education; accessible culture; fighting discrimination; ecological transition; Europe and International. Children, young people, and adults are the protagonists of our solidarity projects in France and abroad. We are currently accredited in five key action 1 programmes (KA120, KA152, KA154, KA155 and KA182), each adapted to a specific audience and set of objectives. KA 120 Learners and Staff within the EU Framework. We create opportunities for educators and adult learners with fewer chances by enabling learning mobilities and job-shadowing experiences across Europe. Through these experiences, participants develop new skills, strengthen their confidence, and broaden their professional aspirations, while promoting inclusion and integration. KA 152 Youth Exchange. We bring together teenagers aged 13 to 15 for unforgettable international experiences, in which a variety of important topics, such as the environment, art, sports, or interculturality, are explored. KA 154 Youth Participation. We believe in the power of young people as the leaders of tomorrow. That’s why we design national and transnational projects where they debate key issues, simulate democratic processes, engage with local leaders, and develop civic initiatives that create real impact in their communities. / KA 155 Discover EU. We help young people discover Europe through international projects, traveling mainly by train and embracing sustainable, inclusive mobility. / KA 182 Mobility of Sports Staff. We empower coaches and sports facilitators through international training courses, helping them acquire new skills and methodologies that foster healthier lifestyles at home. We are very motivated to develop new strategic partnerships under Key Actions 2. If you have a KA2 cooperation project idea and are looking for a committed partner in France, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! / We are actively seeking partners to collaborate in future mobilities in France or abroad. If you are interested, we would love to hear from you!
