Turkiye Taekwondo Federation

The Turkey Taekwondo Federation is the public organization responsible for governing Taekwondo in Turkey. With over 600,000 athletes, it offers Taekwondo opportunities to everyone. The Federation was established in 1984 with the aim of developing, promoting, and representing Taekwondo in the international arena. Since then, it has made significant contributions to the development of Turkish Taekwondo and has led efforts to popularize the sport. The Turkey Taekwondo Federation works directly with Taekwondo clubs and thousands of coaches across the country, providing them with support. The Federation organizes various activities to increase opportunities for young people to engage in sports, improve their skills, and encourage their participation in national and international competitions. In addition to enhancing athletes' skills, the Turkey Taekwondo Federation also supports them in benefiting from EU opportunities. The Federation has established an EU project team consisting of professional project experts to enrich athletes' experiences abroad and provide them with opportunities to interact with different cultures. Furthermore, it aims to contribute to the socio-cultural, language learning, and economic development of athletes. The Federation's focus extends beyond Taekwondo to the overall development of young individuals. It aims to help young people develop leadership skills and become the coaches and teachers of the future. By setting an example for Taekwondo clubs across the country, even in remote areas, the Federation encourages the participation of thousands of young people in sports. The Turkey Taekwondo Federation is a dedicated organization working tirelessly to promote Taekwondo, support young athletes, and represent our country on the international stage. It plays a significant role in popularizing the sport and fostering the development of young individuals, and it is committed to continuing its mission in the future.
