Teen-Turn

Teen-Turn’s mission is to combat gender and class stereotypes as well as inform participants on education and career options. We do this by providing young girls aged 13-18 from underrepresented communities or from where third level education is uncommon with free mentored after school activities, two-week summer work placements in STEM environments, exam support and alumnae professional development programming. Through this our participants are assisted in identifying themselves with STEM career environments and making informed third level course choices which can later contribute to combating the gender gap within the STEM sector as more women earn STEM qualifications.
