About Organization
coMetta is an educational association founded in December 2024 in Vienna, Austria, with a mission to empower young people and educators with the skills, tools, and mindsets needed to navigate a rapidly changing world. Our programs cultivate inner capacities, resilience, and systemic thinking, equipping participants to lead impactful projects that contribute to a more sustainable and interconnected society. We use the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) as a core framework, integrating self-awareness, critical thinking, and sustainability-oriented action into experiential learning. Our offerings include school workshops, a summer academy for young changemakers (16-24), and further education for educators and alumni to multiply our impact. Our approach is rooted in systems theory, cognitive science, neuroscience, contemplative practices, and movement-based learning. By blending theory with embodied and reflective exercises—such as mindfulness, guided journaling, social presencing theater, and movement improvisation—we enable participants to develop both personal and collective leadership skills. Beyond training individuals, coMetta works with organizations, schools, and eco-communities to integrate these tools into broader educational contexts. Through partnerships across Europe, we foster collaborative learning and build strong networks that sustain long-term impact. We are always looking to connect, collaborate, and expand our reach. Whether you are an individual, organization, or educator, we welcome partnerships that align with our vision of co-creating a more sustainable, compassionate, and action-oriented future.
