Valencian Youth Pharmaceutical Students' Association

The Valencian Young Pharmaceutical Students’ Association, was founded in 1989 and formally established in 1990 by eight pharmacy students. The Association now represents around 2,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates in Valencia. AVEF is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization and is the leading Valencian advocacy organisation of young pharmacy students promoting the improvement of public health through provision of information, education, networking, and a range of publication and professional activities. AVEF is part of the Spanish Pharmacy Students’ Federation, the European Pharmacy Students’ Association and the International Pharmacy Students’ Federation since 1990. AVEF organizes mobility activities and youth exchanges since 1995 and was accredited by the Spanish national agency for European Voluntary Sistem.
